Hotshot pilot Dilon Markols and his underdog team of mostly humanoid characters seek glory and fortune by competing in the Zilbo, the premier event in the professional sport of interstellar scavenger hunting. Speeding around the galaxy in a sleek ship that can surf thought waves, they attempt to gather as many items from the Zilbo list as possible, the most valuable being the complete set of molecules which formerly made up one Albert Einstein, a long dead scientist and megalomaniac.
Among other adventures, Dilon, Tassa, and Zelmer extract a planet from a small dog, face the wrath of inflatable life forms, encounter a giraffe saboteur (not the kind that sabotages giraffes), and an exploding penguin. For some reason, a highly intelligent rubber ball is asked to join the team.
Obstacles like the powerhouse teams from the Simolian conglomerate (an invisible headed race favored to win) and entrapment in thought space impede the team’s progress, as does an evil fax copy of Einstein himself.
The story also sheds off-angled light on the creation and nature of the universe, alternate Earth history, and possibly the sinking of the Titanic. It's a wild ride.

Ok, so I thought this would be a typical 'science fiction' book..but it was the most creative comedy I've ever read. Look for a lot hidden humor and expect this book to make you think about most everything in a brand new way. Hilarious and very entertaining!! Loved it!!Product details

This is a very comical book with a multitude of strange characters and a clever plot that holds your interest from page to page. The author has explored sci-fi in a comical manner, a welcome change from many of the standard approaches to this type of fiction.
John Perras's imagination is unparalled! An extremely interesting story with lots of whimsical nuances will keep readers (like myself) saying, "Please John, where's the sequel?" Finding Einstein's Molecules is a must read for Sci-fi and non Sci-fi readers alike!!!
Don't let the title fool you. This is the most humorous book I ever read - full of abstract humor at its best! Laughed out loud throughtout the whole book. Who would ever think that the 'professional sport of interstellar scavenger hunting' would provide sooooooooo much entertainment??? Well done Mr. Perras!!!!
